should have sized upI read the reviews prior which helped. My daughter is a size 4/5 and ordered a size 7. It was a shirt dress. I could have ordered a size 9.Nice quality dress. Fits as expected. Perfect first day of school outfit.Definitely order up. My little girl is in a 6/7 and I had to order 2 different sizes to make sure at least one would fit and the bigger size 8/9 fit. Only going to get a few months out of it, but very cute!I ordered the size 3XL that the size chart said was like a 7/8. There is a 7 printed in the back of the dress but it got more like a 4T. Luckily I have one in that size or it would have been a complete waste of money.This is adorable but so short ! The size 5 looks like a 3 toddler at best so I ordered another one size 6 that is several inches shorter than my granddaughters other 5 to 6 size outfits. I am tired of reordering so I may use it as a tunic top with leggingsThe dress itself is cute but I ordered a size 7 and it's smaller than a size 4 dress. Don't even think it's worth the trouble of returning so idk what I'm gonna do with it...I bought it for my granddaughter's first day of pre-k. She usually wears a size 4 in dresses. I ordered up a size and got the size 5. It JUST fits her. It's a little on the short side and a smidgen tight. I would definitely suggest ordering up two sizes. She did wear it but it will probably be one of the few times she does. If it shrinks at all in the wash it will be too small.
